I have a ridiculous fondness for the Barefoot pinot grigio! The giganto bottles are on sale at Safeway for $10 apiece. I feel like such a wino buying them, but they're a great deal and yummyyyyyyy!

The 1.5 liter bottles are at Hagan for 8.99, and 10% off if you buy 4 or more.

My internal contact at Barefoot wines says that people at Barefoot are buying the Pinot Grigio and the Zinfandel to store for two to five years. We've had a couple of stellar years for wine in California (and, most especially, Washington) of late.

I've still to try the Riesling and the Chardonnay, but I'll probably wait until summer for those.

I am SO hitting the Haggen this weekend!

I wasn't as keen on the Chardonnay - but thinking back, I'm not sure if I chilled it properly. Sometimes I get lazy about that kind of thing! I did notice that the Pinot Grigio tasted kind of skunky at room temp, but it was delicious chilled!

Erika, I'm horribly behind and only just saw your comment. If you love the Pinot Grigio, check out the Barefoot Sauvignon blanc. It's on sale at under 5.00/750 ml "normal" size bottles at Frey Meyer right now.
